Merchants Bancshares declares 28-cent dividend

(NASDAQ: MBVT), the parent company of Merchants Bank, announced that its Board of Directors declared today, October 20, 2011, a dividend of 28 cents per share, payable November 17, 2011, to shareholders of record as of November 3, 2011.
